I provide editorial services—including editorial assessments, developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading—as well as book coaching for authors writing romance and romantic fiction.
Every manuscript goes through a thoughtful, multi-pass editing process designed to strengthen the story while preserving the author's unique voice and vision. My goal is to help writers create the strongest version of their book without losing what makes it theirs.
I also offer one-on-one book coaching for romance authors, whether they're outlining a new novel, working toward a completed first draft, or navigating the revision process with a little extra guidance and support.
Previously known as **Editing with Love** (est. 2016).
2014 – 2020
Reviewed query submissions and presented potential acquisitions to the managing editor for consideration. Worked closely with authors throughout the editorial process, providing developmental editing, manuscript formatting, copyediting, proofreading, and galley reviews to prepare manuscripts for publication.
Served as the primary editorial liaison between the publisher and authors, guiding them through editorial revisions, explaining recommended changes, coordinating cover and back cover copy, and supporting marketing plans and other pre-publication materials to ensure a smooth publishing process.
2016 – 2020
Proofread galley manuscripts to identify and correct typographical errors, formatting inconsistencies, grammatical issues, and minor discrepancies before publication. Applied *The Chicago Manual of Style* and *Merriam-Webster Dictionary* to ensure consistency and adherence to publishing standards. Documented all corrections and queries using a standardized proofreading record.
